Plants growin' like crazy!

We haven't posted much lately because we haven't had much to say because we have been waiting for the good weather. The plants are doing good in the house - some are not looking so good with crumpled, yellow dry leaves or others are drooping and some are doing fine!

One of the sunflowers is taller than the rest at 41cm.

The cucumber is flowering with beautiful yellow blossoms.

Two bean plants even have beans on them - one of them is almost ready to pick because it is already turning yellow!

We have already picked three small snap peas.

Daddy G started tilling the garden plot on Saturday of this weekend, but a belt that makes the tiller go broke after only one swipe of the plot and we couldn't find another one after a whole afternoon of searching stores.

Little G's favourite plants are the sunflowers. Big G's favourite plants are the wax beans.

The Transplant

April 18th,we went to go transplant the plants because it was nice day, and the plants were growing out of the mini garden in the house. The tools we used to transplant the plants were small shovels called trowels.

The materials we used were: bags of soil, tin cans and plastic pots that Mama G purchased. We also used bamboo sticks to stake beans and peas because they like to cling to things and they climb.

We planted the plants three to a large pot and one to most cans. We scooped soil into each pot. Then we put the plants into the pot and filled in the space around the plants with soil.
