Everything's growing!

Hi it's Big G and Little G again! The weather lately has been mostly sunny, windy, cloudy and the temperature has been warming up, hanging around zero degrees at night and above zero during the day. On Saturday of this past weekend, it was snowing like CRAZY! It is expected to rain and the temperatures will keep going up, up, up!

In our garden, everything is growing except four of the wax beans. One of the wax beans is really tall since last week, when it was teeny tiny. It measures 22.5cm and the leaves are large and round like elephant ears. One of the wax beans that isn't growing yet is thinking about popping out like a rabbit out of its hole.

The zucchini plants are all tall like candy canes. Some are standing straight, but others are flopping over and resting on other plants - they look tired. The tallest play in the tray a zucchini plant and it measures 23cm.

Giant plants!
To Big G, the garden is looking cool - the plants look very fresh. Some of the leaves are turning yellow. We are a little worried about them, so Mama G has said we will be replanting them this weekend for sure into some new big pots that she bought at Canadian Tire. We hope this will keep them happy until we can plant them in the ground.

This is the cage we've had to put over the plants to protect them from the cats.
It is actually a basket from the kitchen island.

Mama G is finding the plants are very thirsty this week.
